Licence terms

Last updated October 1, 2026

These terms cover the tools Fulford sells for Rhino and Blender, bought on fulfordstudio.com or on Superhive. Installing or using a tool means you accept them. Fulford, 5626 7e Avenue, Montréal, Quebec H2N 1Y7, Canada. Questions: hello@fulfordstudio.com.

Two kinds of software

Blender add-ons, including the Blender half of Rhino2Blender, are free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later, as Blender requires. That licence, not these terms, sets what you may do with their code, including copying, changing and sharing it. What you buy from us is the download, its updates and our support.

The Rhino plugin of Rhino2Blender is proprietary. You get a licence to use it, as set out below; you don't buy the software itself.

Your licence for the Rhino plugin

  • Who: one person. Install it on any computers you use yourself, at work and at home. Each person who uses it needs their own licence, including people in the same studio.
  • How long: for life. The licence doesn't expire, and includes the updates we publish for the plugin.
  • For what: any work, including commercial projects for clients.
  • Your key is yours alone. Don't share, publish or resell it.

You may not copy the plugin for others, sell or rent it, remove or get around its licence check, or take it apart to rebuild its code, except where the law allows you to.

Trials

A trial key lets you try the Rhino plugin for 14 days. It syncs the first 25 objects of a document. Each person can have one trial per tool.

Licence checks

The Rhino plugin downloads a list of cancelled licences once per session and compares it on your computer: nothing about you, your licence or your files is sent. It keeps working offline for up to 14 days, then waits until it can check again. Syncing between Rhino and Blender never needs the internet.

Cancelled licences

We cancel a licence when its purchase is refunded or charged back, or when its key has been shared publicly or obtained by fraud. A cancelled key stops working at its next check. If yours was cancelled by mistake, write to us and we will restore it.

Buying and refunds

Purchases on fulfordstudio.com are sold by Stripe, the seller of record, and purchases on Superhive by Superhive. Their terms cover payment, tax and refunds. A refunded purchase ends its licence and its download.

Updates and support

We fix problems and publish updates for the tools we sell. We can't promise that a tool will work with every future version of Rhino, Blender or your operating system, or that we will keep making updates forever. Write to us through each tool's support page.

Warranty and liability

The tools are provided as they are. Back up your work: test them on copies before relying on them for a deadline. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for lost work, lost profits or indirect damage, and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid for the tool. None of this removes rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be removed, including under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.

Changes

New versions of these terms apply to tool versions released after the date at the top. A licence you already have keeps working.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and of Canada applicable there. Disputes go to the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, unless the law gives you the right to go to your own local courts.
