Activation

On first run the Rhino panel shows a licence form instead of the interface. It offers three routes.

If you bought Rhino2Blender on Superhive, enter your order code and press Get my licence. Your key arrives immediately and the panel unlocks — there is nothing to wait for and no email to look out for.

If you have not bought it yet, enter your email address and press Start free trial. You get a key straight away that syncs the first 25 objects of a document — enough to see the live link working on a real model. Buying later and entering your order code removes the limit.

Order code, not order ID. A Superhive order shows two different numbers. The one you need is the short order code: 6 characters of letters and digits, like k3m9qz. The long numeric order ID (like 4152368) will not work. Find the code with your order under Orders in your Superhive account.

If you were sent a licence key directly, paste it into the lower box and press Activate.

Either way the panel remembers the key, so you only do this once per machine. Reinstalling or moving to a second machine? Enter the same order code again — you get the same key back rather than using up another.

Upgrading from the trial, or changing your key later

Press Licence… at the bottom of the Rhino panel. That brings the same form back at any time, with all three routes on it, so you can enter your order code or paste a new key without waiting for anything to expire. ← Back to panel returns you unchanged if you were only looking.

Your Blender connection is not dropped: the panel rebuilds around the live session when the new key is accepted.

The Blender add-on requires no key and never contacts a licence server.
