Your first connection

  1. In Blender, open the Rhino2Blender sidebar and press Start. The header shows Port: 9876.
  2. In Rhino, open the document you want to sync and run Rhino2Blender.
  3. Confirm the host is 127.0.0.1 and the port matches Blender's, then press Connect.
  4. Back in Blender, an approval prompt appears: Allow Rhino '<document>' to connect? Press Allow.
  5. The document indexes and transfers. A progress bar shows in the Blender sidebar for larger files.

When it finishes, the source appears in the Rhino Sources list with a green dot and counts for objects, instances and lights.

Leave both applications open and work normally. Edits in Rhino appear in Blender as you make them.
